Some answers to your questions
- yes I did change each T individually, lol, it took me ages to do it.
- the Christmas countdown - Oh dear, I had actually forgotten it was there, it was supposed to be in the footer but somehow got moved to the sidebar when I changed my blog. I am NOT, I repeat NOT eager for Christmas at all. Easter is about as much as I can handle. Not to mention the fact that I have the big 4-0 coming up just before Christmas, so I am trying to blot December from my mind totally.
How long do you spend blogging/reading blogs everyday?
What time of day do you blog?
Oh wait, that is two, oh well. I have always wondered how everyone else manages, since it seems to take quite a bit of my time up.
For me, the amount of time I have really varies from zero (unfortunately) to about an hour. Sometimes I get a little more time than that, but it's rare. I'll typically blog either very early in the morning, or late at night.
ReplyDeleteGood questions! Sometimes I don't manage lol....
ReplyDeleteI tend to do batches of autoposts for my Project 365 posts in an evening once a week or so; other posts are as and when. Some days I don't blog or read blogs at all, some days I spend several hours doing it (like today....) The best balance is when I can spend an hour or two and feel 'caught up', but that's rare at the moment as I keep having very busy days and getting VERY far behind! So I don't know if I've managed to help you at all, sorry....!
I read blogs throughout the day, and I try to blog first thing in the day if not autopost. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI read blogs as & when I can fit them in - blog hop day was the first time I ever spent an afternoon just blog reading - the most I can manage is about 20 mins at a time. I am trying to get a ahead a little with my own blog and do more scheduling. I usually blog really early or very late!
ReplyDeleteI spend far too much time reading blogs, somehow I end up lost for hours following one link after another lol. Sorry doesn't really answer your questions - I have no set pattern which means that sometimes I don't blog for days. Love the look and feel of your blog.
ReplyDeleteYou all seem to have enjoyed the blog hop! I can fit scrapbooking, blogs etc during the day now as I'm retired. If the weather's fine I'm out and tend to blog in the evening or early morning.
ReplyDeleteI tend to blog and read in the evening when my kid have gone to bed, at least most days. On my days off I read and catch up whenever I have a few minutes to sit down :D
ReplyDeleteI probably read blogs far too much! When I should b scrapping so I have something to blog about! lol I'd probably say I read for between 1 and 3 hours a day! aaargh! Lots....I try and put a comment on too, even if its just one word!
ReplyDeleteGood questions! I am really struggling with it. My Google Reader has hundreds of subscriptions. I usually spend some time in the morning and than during the day. And some more before I go to bed. Definitely too much. I need to limit my time reading blogs but it is not easy :) Shimelle's classes do not help here LOL
ReplyDeleteI generally blog the night/day before in Live Writer & have it upload the post to appear the next day around 6am.
ReplyDeleteI read blogs randomly throughout the day & comment as I go. 30 minutes or so in the morning, an hour or so around noon, another hour around 4ish (if I am lucky) and random parts of another hour after dinner while supervising homework.
I have all my blogs organized in Google Reader into folders & I read 1-2 folders a day. This means I visit most blogs 2-3 times a week on a good week, 1-2 times a week on a busy week
I agree with you - blogging (both reading and posting) does take up a lot of time! Therefore the answer to the first question is "way too long"! As for the second one, I tend to blog at night, sometimes even really late at night as it takes me that long to compose the post!
ReplyDeleteMy time varies each day depending on my schedule. Ideally I have about an hour to read other blogs. I post fairly often, but it's always driven by what I have to post about - a new layout or cards I've created, book reviews when I've finished a few books, etc. I blog at whatever time of day I can fit it in.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could read blogs more often but working full time I don't get to spend nearly enough time probably about an hour and a half total between first thing in the morning and after work. If I spent any more time my family would suffer LOL.
ReplyDeleteMy reading time varies, I like to read in the morning and generally expect to give about an hour. Sometimes only two new entries will be in my Reader so of course the next day it's usually flooded and takes longer lol I probably post most often in the morning too especially if I am taking a blog related class.
ReplyDeleteI don't read as much or as often as I used to. I seem to go in cycles on how much I read other blogs. I typically write my posts in the morning or late at night and set them to publish the following morning. Occasionally something will occur to me to post immediately. Those can happen at any time of the day.
ReplyDeleteI tend to blog late afternoon after I have taken my photo of the day. As to reading other blogs, I think on average I must spend 30mins a day.
ReplyDeleteThere is honestly no rhyme or reason to how much time I spend reading and/or writing blog posts. I check google reader every morning at breakfast and then throughout the day as I can fit it in. Sometimes that is a lot, sometimes not at all. I usually blog in the evening, although that varies too.
ReplyDeleteHello! Pleased to find you through BBFS. :) I work outside the home most days, so it is usually evening when I catch up with blogs for an hour, though if I am at home I like to pop in during the day in little batches. I prepare my blog posts the same way, but have set days when I go live, and always schedule them for 12.05 a.m.!
ReplyDeleteHi Tracy. I'm taking Shimelle's class with you. I tend to spend about an hour each day reading blogs. When I read, and when I post just depends on what else is going on in my life. I tend to prepare several blog posts at a time and schedule them to post over the next few days.
ReplyDeleteAll tolled, I probably spend a couple of hours either writing my own posts or reading others' blogs. Early morning before work, sometimes at lunch, and a few minutes before an early bedtime are prime time for me.
