Had a busy day today even if I didn't do anything tangible. Going off topic but I just loved how my sister and nephew were 'working' together!

Daily snappers
Nicky at Daily Snappers (Www.dailysnappers.blogspot.co.uk) is organising a year long photo challenge. I haven't tried doing a daily photo for a few years but thought that since my studying is on a slight hiatus for this year I would try again. I will probably instagram my photos and then blog every few days, but really hope to keep this up. I do have a funny story to tell about this post. I am currently staying at my sister's and so do not have access to my computer. I cannot seem to sign into blogger on my tab, so spent a long time trying to work out how to post this. I eventually decided to email the post to my phone so that I could email it to my blog. Just after I pressed send I clicked how silly I was being, why couldn't I email directly to blogger from my tab! Shows how untechnologically minded I am!

We spent the evening at my sister's friends house. We just made midnight but I made up for it by having a special dinner and a small bottle of bubbly this evening!
I have spent a long time deciding on my word for 2014 and has not made any decision until inspiration struck this morning. I have chosen the word SURRENDER. Firstly I really need to learn to hand any issues over to God nd then allow him to heal them. I always tend to try to solve everything on my own and not trust God to help. Secondly there are certain things in my life which I just need to let go of. I briefly thought of release but surrender seemed to encompass both.
So here's to a wonderful 2014!
