Summer photo scavenger hunt photos

I have really been battling with this due to it being winter. Not because the things are not available, they are, I just dont have as much time with work and school in full swing. Internet access has also been erratic over the last few weeks. However, I am slowly getting there with a few photos here and there, so now it is time to update.

1. A pier
Umhlanga Pier in the afternoon. The curved things sticking out are supposed to represent a whale or sharks ribcage. (I cant remember which lol) Unfortunately it was in shade by the time I got there, so not very bright.

2. A clothesline

3. A border

4. A roadside stand selling something

5. A train

6. A historical landmark

7. A person playing a musical instrument

8. A person dressed as an angel or a statue of an angel
I found this little angel at a local garden centre. Funnily, this is the one that I never thought I would get and yet it was one of the first I found.

9. A fountain

10. A horse

11. A shadow

My mum and her shadow on a walk at the beachfront.

12. A maze, labyrinth, or trail.

13. A library

14. A person playing with a ball.
A little boy playing rugby on the beach with his father.

15. Someone dancing.
I spent Thursday at a local market watching Brenda sing in the school choir. After the show was over the DJ was playing 60's and 70's music, and these two joined all the "old toppies" (as my dad called them, he who is 71, lol) in the dancing.

16. A bride.

17. A church, chapel, cathedral, mosque or temple.

18. A movie poster

19. An outdoor stairway
Stairway from the beach to the Oyster Box hotel

20. A swing hanging from a tree (or a hammock)

21. A picture of you standing with something that symbolizes your nation.

I will be back soon with some more.

  1. I love that pier - I've never seen anything like it. And so much fun to see rugby (there's been a good variety of balls in the scavenger hunt this year).

  2. I too love that pier..great pics!

  3. Great selection of photographs. I just love that stairway to the hotel from the beach, though wouldn't want to climb it with my creaky knees!

  4. That's a great pier - so much more interesting with those bones sticking out! Thank you for stopping by my blog as part of the hop. I hope you had fun.
