Rinda's Summer Photo Scavenger Hunt

A couple of weeks ago I signed up for Rinda's photo scavenger hunt. I am not sure whether I will be able to get them all, but thought it would be fun to try. Since I joined I have been really busy at work and then laid low with an awful dose of the flu and not really had a chance to either take photos or blog. However, I am back and here is my first photo.
7. A decorated mailbox, but us non-US people can use a garden sculpture.

The moment I saw this prompt I knew that I just had to add this little guy. He stands outsides someones house about 15minutes from me, however it is a road that I probably drive on about twice a year, so dont see him much. I just love him though, I think he is so cheerful and love the little dog he is leading! Now, he is on an extremely busy road and so this photo was not easy to take. I had to stop on the other side and then wait for a break in the traffic to get him in. I took quite a few, but most had cars in the way. This was the best of the bunch. I only realised after I uploaded it to my computer, that he actually has the South African flag in the background, but you cant really see it, so I will take another photo of it somewhere else.
