Round the world Blog Party

I am participating in a round the world blog party today, following a prompt from Shimelle.  It starts here and you should have come here via the lovely Karen. It is a circle though, so if you start from me you will eventually end up back at me. We are each to post a picture from our window and one from our work desk. I think this is going to be such fun to see the different places from around the world. I live on the east coast of South Africa, just outside a place called Durban. Durban is really a surfers paradise and has pretty much year round summer. (except for this year when we have just had rain :-( )Since my windows look out mainly onto trees, my two pictures are taken from the top of the driveway. I was getting concerned as the last two days we have had torrential rain, but fortunately today the weather improved, even if it is a bit windy.

My work space is in the process of being redone (a very fancy way of saying tidied up and sorted out), so at the moment I am crafting on the lounge table. As I am sure you really dont want to see the pile of packets which constitute my stash at the moment, I am posting a picture of the stash I bought today. It is on the lounge table, and in the background you can see my embellishment box, so that should class as scrap space, lol.

I have been shopping for Christmas stash for my JYC, which I really should get on and organise soon, but got so much else to do, I am not getting much chance! It is also my mum's 70th birthday today, so really busy with that.
After me, you should go over to the UK to Jacky. Jacky is someone I have just met through Shimelle's class and I have to say that her blog is just fab. Her work is gorgeous, and I especially love the card that she posted today, and the little book a few entries down. I hope that you enjoy the blog party, I know that I am going to enjoy seeing all the round the world entries.
